The Modernization 2017–2019 Modernization is not an accretive but
a transformative exercise.

Working backwards from product attributes required for the next 20 years and identifying deficits in each step of the manufacturing process, we zeroed in on the key initiatives for our modernization plan. From a classifier that can cut a particle to a fraction of a human hair to an intensive mixer which takes diverse raw materials and converts them to a perfectly homogenous mix.

From a press that can halt and resume a hundred times in a second to a kiln that fires at an astronomical 1800˚c, it is a finely balanced journey which results in a refractory that stands the test of time. Implemented over a three year period, the modernization program shall create the youngest, state of the art refractory manufacturing facility amongst our peers. Added emphasis is on reducing human intervention in quality, standardizing processes and ensuring on-time deliveries. We are ready for the future, hope it is ready for us.
